Munich 17.12.2021 - pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided €83 million to MünchenBau Bauträger GmbH for the construction of a new office building in a central Munich location. MünchenBau has been active as a property developer and project developer in the state capital for over 40 years and is one of the major local market players.

In Denisstraße, not far from Munich's main railway station, the "Denisstraße Lichthöfe" will be built from spring 2022. Four buildings with three inner courtyards will be built on the 2,500 square metre site. Two of the properties will have glazed sawtooth roofs (shed roofs) arranged in a row, giving the ensemble an individual character. This will create flexible, optimally lit office space with generous green spaces in the courtyard and on the roof terraces on an area of around 9,000 square metres. There are also 87 parking spaces in an underground garage as well as charging stations for e-bikes and e-cars.

The office building is already fully let on a long-term basis to a renowned, internationally active technology company. Handover to the tenant is planned for summer 2023.

Gerhard Meitinger, Head of Real Estate Finance for Germany: "We are very pleased to support this great project in Munich. Not only is a plot of land being put to ideal use here, the building ensemble also combines the highest sustainability standards with outstanding architecture."
