Why is my personal data processed?

Provision of the website and use of cookies
During your visit to our website, the following data is recorded and stored in log files for a period of up to seven days each time our website is accessed in order to safeguard a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO:

  • Date and time of access;
  • Websites from which the user's system accesses our website;
  • Websites which are accessed by the user's system through our website.

Individual pieces of information are stored in text files (known as "cookies") in your browser. The processing of this data and the use of these technically necessary cookies are essential to ensuring the functionality of the website and the security of our information technology systems. As a result, there is no right to object to the processing of this data.

Newsletter dispatch
If you are already a customer with us, we will use your e-mail address, which you provided when concluding the contract, for the purposes of customer communication and direct advertising to safeguard a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO. We would like to inform you about the development of our portfolio as well as about other similar services and products which we believe are of interest to you. You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter at any time with effect for the future by sending us a corresponding message. We will then no longer use your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

Contact form
If you use one of our contact forms, we collect and process the data you provide for the purpose of processing your enquiry on the basis of your consent in accordance with article. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You have the right to revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. We will store your contact request until your consent is revoked, provided that there are no longer any legal obligations to store said information. If you use the contact form to apply for a job position, we will store the data for a period of six months should your application be rejected.

What rights do I have?
In addition to the right to object mentioned above, you have the following rights:

  • Information about your personal data stored in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR in conjunction with § 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG);
  • Correction of your data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Deletion of your data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR;
  • Restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • Transferability of your data in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.
  • If you are of the opinion that the processing is in breach of the European Data Protection Basic Regulation, you have the right to appeal to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.
