Munich, 9 March 2026 – Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) is providing follow-up financing for a multi-tenant logistics centre. The site, conveniently located near the A1 motorway in Werne, North Rhine-Westphalia, was acquired in 2018 with the aim of increasing its value potential. Following the repositioning and modernisation of existing buildings as well as new construction and expansion work under the asset management of Garbe Industrial, it has developed into an established logistics centre.
‘Logistics properties located in economically strong regions with good transport links remain a central component of our financing strategy. With this transaction, we are supporting an established and long-term partner with outstanding expertise in this market segment,’ said Gerhard Meitinger, Head of REF Germany, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG.
Philipp Schnabel, member of the management board at Garbe Industrial, added: ‘We are delighted to have pbb as a competent and experienced financing partner at our side.’
