pbb provides GIANT Werne g33 GmbH & Co. KG with financing for several logistics and light industrial properties in Germany

Munich, 9 March 2026 – Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) is providing refinancing for a multi-tenant logistics centre. The property is conveniently located near the A1 motorway in Werne, North Rhine-Westphalia. Following completion of the redevelopment phase, it is now a stabilised and well-let logistics property.

The financing, which is managed by asset manager GARBE Industrial GmbH, concerns one to four individual special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with a total of up to four logistics and light industrial properties in North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The financing is structured with a term of three years and has extension options for a total of up to five years. Depending on the structure variant, the financing amount totals up to €80 million.

‘Logistics and light industrial properties in economically strong regions remain a central component of our financing strategy. With this transaction, we are supporting an established joint venture in the long-term optimisation of its financing structure,’ said Gerhard Meitinger, Head of REF Germany, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG. Philipp Schnabel, member of the management board at GARBE Industrial, added: ‘We are delighted to have gained a competent and experienced partner for this financing in pbb!’.

About GIANT:

The GIANT joint venture has invested in a total of 27 locations in Germany and the Netherlands. As of 31 March 2025, the portfolio will generate annual net rental income of around €54.14 million. Based on the JKT appraisal as of 31 December 2024, the total value of the real estate assets under management amounts to around €1.081 billion.
