pbb is providing €42 million in refinancing for a Barings logistics centre in Herleshausen
Munich, 23 July 2026 – Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) is providing €42 million in refinancing for the Bad Hersfeld Ost logistics centre. The fully let, recyclable and easily subdivisible logistics property in Herleshausen is conveniently situated on the A4 motorway and offers a total floor area of around 72,000 square metres. The financing from pbb is being used by Barings to repay an existing development loan.
Gerhard Meitinger, Head of Real Estate Finance Germany, commented following the closing of the deal: “We are delighted to be able to expand our exposure in the sought-after logistics asset class, in partnership with the renowned firm Barings. The property meets the very latest requirements for its users.”

In addition to traditional logistics, multi-tenant light industrial (MLI) is also a key investment focus at European level, and as such we are constantly seeking financing partners for logistics properties.”
