FAQs

Your relationship manager at pbb will provide you with an invitation link to the customer portal via a personal e-mail.

If you have not yet received this e-mail, please contact your relationship manager at pbb. After successful registration, you can access the pbb customer portal via the website www.mypbb.pfandbriefbank.com.

The link to the customer portal can also be found on the pbb website. Under the menu item "Customers > Customer Portal" there is a button that directly takes you to the login page of the pbb customer portal.

In the section "New Deals“, you can see all transactions that are in the process phases application until disbursement.

Following (initial) disbursement, you will find the deal displayed in the section "Existing Deals”.

A mouse click on a deal in the "New Deals" section, takes you to the overview page of the requested financing. Below the project name, you will find a graphical display of the status of the financing request in the approval process. Green signals that a process step has been completed already; while the current status is shown in yellow.

To move on to the next status, you can submit the documents for the next phase in the "Requirements" tab. As soon as you or your team members have uploaded the required documents under the individual line items, a pbb employee will review them. Upon approval, the status of the specific requirement is displayed in green.

Alternatively, you can filter the requirements by category. This facilitates the delegation of individual tasks; for example, to your mandated lawyer. 

As an executive user, which is a portal specific classification given to you by your pbb relationship manager, you can invite other users to the customer portal to work on the transaction alongside with you.

You can invite other users in the "Manage Team" section. Upon entering the email address, please select the role for the person to be invited in the section underneath. The following roles, which differ in their rights and functions, are available:

Customer - Standard-User:

  • Complete display of deal information
  • Can upload, view and comment all documents in the portal related to the deal

Customer - Executive-User:

  • Has all rights like a “Standard User” and in addition
  • Can invite other persons to the deal
  • Has access to the “Postbox”

Deal Manager / Asset Manager:

  • Complete display of deal information
  • Can upload, view and comment all documents in the portal related to the deal

Lawyer:

  • Complete display of deal information
  • Can upload, view and comment all documents in the portal related to the deal

Valuer:

  • Display of property information only
  • Can upload, view and comment documents in the portal only related to the property

Please note that you can give any of the roles above access to documents in the postbox in the ‘customer’ tab in the manage team window.

In order to enable a quicker and more efficient processing of your financing request, please hand in all required data via the pbb customer portal. All documents necessary for the next phase of the credit approval process will be displayed in red, status “open”, in the requirements section. 

Clicking on a specific requirement opens a window where one or more documents can be uploaded. The system has a capacity of 100 MB per line item and supports all standard formats.
By clicking the button "send for review" the status changes into "Review", color-coded in yellow. 

A positive review of the submitted documents is indicated with the status "Approved" in green". The renewed status "Open" indicates that we kindly ask you to revise the document, as it was not sufficient for our analysis. You will find the specific reason for this added in the comment field of this task. As a result, a new document submission is required at this point. You can also add a comment for pbb to the document you are going to submit.

You will find this comment function in the lower part of the window.

You may also chose to assign tasks to other members of your deal team, who you have invited to the customer portal previously.

After clicking on the corresponding document request, select the desired person from the drop-down selection "Team member" in the "Responsible" area of the window that opens. This person will immediately be informed by e-mail about the task assigned to him/her.

You will find your pending undertakings under the loan agreement in the "Requirements" tab. They will be shown in good time before they fall due. Via the portal, you will also be informed about an upcoming task by email and via the message icon (bell button).

The documents required for the loan decision and disbursement are stored for you in the "Requirements" tab in the section “Show approved”. They can be accessed at any time by clicking on the respective document. 

If you want to invite a user to multiple deals, please wait until the user has registered on the pbb customer portal following the initial invitation. 
Once a user has registered, you will see the person’s credentials as well as a green tick next to the respective person in the Manage Team overview. As soon as this has been done, you can easily invite the same person to further deals using his or her e-mail address.

(Please note: if the invited person has not yet registered on the portal and keeps receiving invitations to additional deals, this can hinder the registration process).
